Moonlight Beach Sudbury

Sudbury will be overrun by almost as many athletes, coaches and officials as the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. Of course, the spotlight on the 2010 Ontario Summer Games will be considerably less, co-chair Dan Lee says, but he expects Greater Sudbury to rally behind the games with the same energy Vancouver did.
The biannual sporting event kicks off tomorrow for three days of intense competition and will attract 2,700 athletes, aged 11 to 22, participating in 32 events in 31 venues across the city.
Beach volleyball may be a relatively new sport to the Games, but several Greater Sudbury girls made the team. Competing girls teams include Indigo Clement and Liandra Hunt, as well Danielle Marshall and Meagan Flewelling, while Manon Duhaime teams up with North Bay partner Kayla Kosturik.
Ryley Adams and Bray Crowder take to the beach volleyball courts at Moonlight Beach to represent the boys.
