Titans Tight

15U Scarborough Titans Dynasty

15U Scarborough Titans Dynasty a very committed group.

The Scarborough Titans Dynasty 15U girl’s volleyball team is a group of athletes that have come together this year with the common goal of being the best volleyball team they can be. With only three girls on the team having ever played club volleyball, the team decided to commit to three days of practice a week in an effort to prepare them for what this year would hold.

When they practice, they practice hard. And what happens on the court stays on the court; they don’t bring their problems to volleyball, they leave them at home.

Even though this group has just met, they act like they’ve known each other for years. “For a group of girls to come together, having just met, and become such a tight knit group is incredible!” remarked coach Blair Mackintosh. This team is very intelligent, on and off the court, and this team is always thinking about what is the best for the common goal. They have never given up and when things don’t go their way they work harder until they get it.

The girls have participated in three Ontario Volleyball  tournaments so far, placing second in both 15U tournaments and fourth in a 16U tournament. They have yet to lose a pool match and both final matches in 15U were hard fought losses going to three sets.

With the success of their last 15U tournament they have now been placed in Premier division and the athletes, coaches, and families are incredibly thrilled. For this team performing this well is very impressive and all the encouragement they need.

Their next tournament on February 13th will be their toughest yet, but the girls are up for the challenge and regardless of the final outcome they have proven they are up for anything this year throws their way.
