Attack Alumni Lead Mac

Congratulations to Durham Attack alumni Kaila Janssen (2007), Shannon McRobert (2008) and Lauren Skelly (2009), who have led McMaster to an 8-1 record going into the Christmas break.
Mac is currently ranked 2nd but with two matches in hand and a win over the leader Waterloo. It’s been an injury-filled fall for the three, with Shannon sidelined for a month (broken ankle), Lauren just recently returning to play after an injury on Team Ontario this past summer, and Kaila with two sprained ankles in between, but Mac has persevered.
Mac, finishing OUA top 2 the past three seasons and with an OUA championship in 2008, resumes play after their Christmas training camp in Florida at the McMaster Invitational.
Petrusma on the attack
On the men’s side, alumnus Shayne Petrusma (2008) has played some great matches for the Mac men, who at one point were ranked #1 in Canada but recently slipped to #4 after a weekend of bad luck.
They are also currently #2 in the OUA, also with an 8-1 record, and also with a game in hand and a win over the leader Western. Mac men have been OUA champions the past three seasons.
