Mohawk Mountaineers Undefeated
Mohawk College swept St. Clair from Windsor in both men’s and women’s Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) volleyball matches at the Fennell Gymnasium Friday (Nov. 6).
In the women’s contest, the Mountaineers won, 25-20, 25-22, 25-15, to improve to 4-0, the last remaining undefeated team in the West Region, while the Saints fell to 3-1. Allison Feliciano led Mohawk with eight kills and four stuff bllocks, while Jenn Knowles had eight kills, two blocks and two service aces.
The men’s team moved to 2-0, with a 25-23, 25-20, 25-20, decision over St. Clair, (1-3).
Ian Cameron had 15 kills and two stuff blocks for the Mountaineers. Mo Sulaiman collected eight kills and one ace.
