Elite Beach Volleyball Live Up to Name
Once again, the most successful Beach Volleyball Club in Canada had a victorious National Championships. The following teams from the club finished in the top 3 at the 2009 Nationals:
U16 Boys: Joey Nuguid – Aaron Nusbaum = 1st
U16 Girls: Nova Bozinoski – Sydney Krizmanich = 1st
U18 Boys: Todd Stevenson – Richard MacKay = 3rd
U18 Girls: Melissa Humana-Paredes – Victoria Altomare = 1st
Alanna Kirchner – Danny Vortisch = 3rd
U21 Boys: Felipe Humana-Paredes – Clayton Weyrauch = 2nd m
Also, Kaitlyn Krizmanich, who trained in the club, finished 1st playing with Caleigh Whitaker, an ex member of the club, in the U21 division.
Since its inception in 2004, the club has obtained 11 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals. The Elite Beach Volleyball Club operates out of Beach Blast in Toronto and the athletes are privilege to train with some of the most distinguished and knowledgeable coaches in Canada: John Child, Rob Dyba, Daniel Shermer, and HernĂ¡n Humaña.
