After a very successful season last year, with four gold medals, two silver and four bronze at various Ontario tournaments, the Peel Selects Volleyball club is ready to start another season. New to the club this year is the addition of a boys’ team to what use to be a female only club.
The club is looking for youths (ages six to 18) both male and female interested in participating in volleyball either at the rep or at a recreational house league level.
For first-time youths looking to try out the sport, the club also offer a developmental program. The rep team tryouts are free and will begin Sept. 16. There will be free skills clinics available as well for students in Grade 6 to 8, prior to the start of tryouts for that age
group. Registration for the house league and development program, in conjunction with boys’ youth volleyball, will begin Sept. 17.
