Boys action at the 2009 Beach Nationals in Toronto

Over 280 teams from eight provinces and one territory competed on 85 courts at the Beach Nationals at Ashbridges Bay from August 28-30. The OVA would like to thank all the athletes and families that attended the three day event.

A very special thank you to Mark Heese and Canuck Stuff for organizing and hosting the 20 year Beach Nationals Anniversary party at Balmy Beach Club. The event was well attended and it was a wonderful tribute to past and present beach volleyball players and coaches.

Congratulations to all the medal winners. Ontario was very well represented on the podium this year.
