Youth Open Male Tier 1

The weather was great for Saturday competition, which included pool play for all Youth Open athletes and playoffs for all Adult Athletes. The Elite division played down to the final four which would take place on Sunday. The AA division played a one day event completing pool play in the morning and playoffs in the afternoon.

Congratulations to the team of Stathakos/Sutton for their win in the women’s division and Cairns/Hall for winning the AA Men’s Division.

Sunday’s weather supplied several different playing conditions. Early in the day it was hot and humid which lead to an exciting thunder storm that delayed the event for over an hour. After the storm clouds cleared the weather was perfect with sunny conditions to complete the day of competition. Thanks to everyone for their patience during the weather delay.
The OVA would like to thank all of the athletes and families who came to Ashbridges Bay for the 2009 Provincial Championships.
