Congratulations to Region 3
Region 3 through a double packed punch to win Gold medals in both the Male and Female divisions at the 2009 Regional Games at Humber College on August 10th and 11th. Both finals were intense and showed how highly skilled the athletes were. Honourable mentions goes to Region 5 who faced Region 3 in both Male and Female finals.
In the Bronze medal matches, Region 4 came out on top on the Female side, and Region 6 won on the Male side.
The Regional Games concluded the Regional Team Training Centre which focuses on athlete development. The OVA will continue to develop volleyball athletes across the Province offering numerous Athlete Development Programs.
