Norm Dysart Passes Away
It is with great sadness that the OVA reports the passing of Norm Dysart on Monday, July 27th, in Peterborough, following a long battle with cancer.
Norm was a mainstay in volleyball in Peterborough for over three decades, coaching Crestwood and Club volleyball.
Norm also served as a coach and host of the Junior National team in the early 80s, at Trent. He was a member of the OVA Coaching Committee in the late 70s and early 80s and later served on the Elite Development Committee, on behalf of Region 4.
Visitation to be held on Wednesday, July 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough, Ontario, 705-745-4683. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at the same location at 11:00 a.m.
