Durham Attack 5-Time Golden
Durham Attack Black Win Gold in 18U Women at the National Championships held in Ottawa this past weekend.
18U women’s division 1 team Durham Attack Black could not be stopped in their quest for gold this weekend. This was their fifth and last year as a team together, and their history precedes them.
Durham Attack Black won the national title at the 14U, 15U, 16U and 17U divisions.
This year would be do no different, with the team claiming top spot in the 18U division this afternoon against the Dinos of Calgary, AB.
They won in the first set 25-11, and the Dinos came back strong in the second set but could not topple Durham, ending 26-24.
“This is what we’ve been working for all these years,” Coach Evan Williams said. “This is amazing. I could not be more proud of these girls.”
