Northern Chill Prepped for Provincials
The Northern Chill 15U girls volleyball team will be heading to Kitchener, Ontario to compete in the Ontario Provincial Championships being held by the OVA at RIM Park in Waterloo.
The schedule has the Chill 15U playing this Saturday, Sunday and Easter Monday.
The girls not only made it to premier division, but they are ranked eighth going into the provincials.
The team consists of coach Richard Breault, a teacher at Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School, manager Judi Adams and a group of very supportive parents.
“I’m very excited about being in division one this year because we are the first Chill group to be there and the games are so much more intense,” said team member Allison Larsen, in a release.
“Provincials will be so much fun this year because of the higher level of play that comes with Division One. Also I would like to finish in the top 10 this year. All the coaches are really great and supportive. I’ve made so many new friends since I’ve started Chill three years ago, and I’m looking forward to playing again next year.”
