Mac Meets WolfPack at Nationals

For the second year in a row, the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack will open the CIS National Men’s Volleyball Championships against a team from the East.
The WolfPack, captured the bronze medal at the Canada West Final Four on the weekend and will take on the Ontario Champions, the McMaster Mauraders.
The WolfPack go in as the No. 6 seed.
WolfPack head coach Pat Hennelly thinks the sixth seed is justified and it should be a great first round match versus Ontario champs McMaster.
Last year, the Pack finished with a bronze medal at nationals.
The rest of the seeds are as follows: Defending CIS champion and host team Alberta Golden bears are ranked first and will play the eighth-ranked University of New Brunswick in their first match.
Laval is second and will do battle with seventh-ranked Winnipeg Wesmen, while fourth seeded Brandon University Bobcats do battle with fifth rated Dalhousie Tigers out of Nova Scotia.
Matches start Friday at the University of Alberta.
The semi-finals are set for Saturday, with the medal and qualification matches going Sunday.
