Queens Drops Opener, Lions Host Final Four
The Queen’s Golden Gaels men’s volleyball team will have to dig itself out of a big hole if it hopes to win a provincial title.
In Game one of the best-of-three Ontario University Athletics final at Bartlett Gym Tuesday night, the second-seeded Gaels lost 3-1 (20-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-18) against the No. 1 McMaster Marauders.
The Gaels will have to win two games in a row in Hamilton – tomorrow (7 p. m.) and Saturday – to claim the Ontario championship and advance to the eight-team national final in Edmonton later this month.
