Make it six in a row for the Brock University women’s volleyball team and a milestone achievement for a local sophomore.
The Badgers squeaked by the Waterloo Warriors 3-2 (25-22, 25-19, 20-25, 21-25, 15-13) for their sixth straight victory, improving their record to 10-4 in the OUA West, at home on Saturday afternoon.
“We’re scrappy, we just don’t quit anymore, because of our mentality that every game isn’t over and we just play through everything,” said coach Lucas Hodgson. “A couple of our wins have been overpowering, but most of them have been a battle. There’s no breaks to take and no team that you can just walk over.”
The last time Brock lost was on Nov. 20 to the York Lions, 3-1, who remain perfect this season.
