Miss Teen Canada Hopeful Plays Volleyball

There’s more grit than glamour when it comes to winning a beauty pageant.
Just ask 17-year-old Ancaster resident Terri Faloney, (her late grandfather was Bernie Faloney, a Hamilton football legend and CFL hall of famer) a finalist in this year’s Miss Teen Canada-World competition.
Until recently, the only insight she had into world of beauty pageants came from TV shows and movies like Miss Congeniality….By finishing sixth in the Ontario finals, Terri will compete to become Canada’s finalist at the 2009 Miss Teen Canada-World competition.
…In addition to her budding career as an actress and model, Terri is also a standout athlete. She has captained her school volleyball team for three years at Hillfield Strathallan College.
