Mohawk Women Sweep Bruins
The Mohawk women’s volleyball team made quick work of the Sheridan Bruins in OCAA play at the Fennell Gym on Wednesday.
The Mountaineers swept their Oakville opponents 3-1, (25-18, 25-18, 25-17).
Leah Waxman (Port Dover) led the home side with 10 kills and one serving ace. Candice Kragten (Cayuga SS) had eight kills and two stuff blocks, Rachel VanHartingsveldt (Durham Christian) collected nine kills, Stacey Dafoe (Paris District) scored seven kills and two blocks and Allison Feliciano (Galt CI) also had seven kills and two blocks.
