Sr. Team Canada Wins Global Cup
Battling through six games, Team Canada claimed the Global Cup senior volleyball championship on Thursday night In St. George, Utah.
The Canadians won the first two games against King’s Mountain Fog, representing the United States, lost three in a row, then claimed the final game 25-22 to highlight the Huntsman World Senior Games event. The teams played six games because the medal round of the tournament was double-elimination and Team Canada hadn’t lost until the U.S. team took three straight games to force the deciding game.
