Kerby Bentley vows the new Niagara College Knights women’s volleyball team is better than the old one.
The 2007-08 Knights squad featured 10 rookies along with a few more experienced players. Most of those rookies are back – now as second-year players who are more comfortable with the surroundings and the game at the college level.
The coach is expecting big things for the forthcoming season. “This year’s team is going to be really strong,” Bentley told The Tribune. “As long as the girls stay healthy and stick with the program and keep progressing the way that they already have – I’m really excited about this year’s team. They’re way stronger than what they were last year.”
