A High Note Finish for FTC Canada
Team Canada Men earned their first victory at the World Challenge Club Volleyball Cup in Santa Fe, defeating UC Irvine 3-1 on Thursday evening. Set scores were 25-21, 25-12, 19-25 and 25-17 in favour of Canada.
Power hitter Nicholas Cundy (Edmonton, AB) led the offense with 19 points on 14 kills, four service aces and a stuff block while Pascal Cardinal (Pincourt, QC) and Toon Van Lankvelt (Rivers, MB) tallied 17 and 15 points respectfully.
