Younger Pavan Blazing Her Own Trail at Kentucky
LEXINGTON, Ky.
Sarah Pavan concluded her volleyball career at the University of Nebraska as one of the most accomplished athletes in school history.
All of which led her younger sister, Becky, to cross Nebraska off the list of schools she was considering attending long before she chose to play volleyball for Kentucky.
“I always said to myself even when she was being recruited I’d never go to the university she went to,” Becky Pavan said. “I followed her for so long that I felt like I wanted to make my own impression at a different school and see what I will do on my own without the outside pressure of what she’s done already.”
