Beach duo to represent Canada at Jr. Olympics

Regional Volleyball team includes North Bayites

Athletes from the North Bay Youth Volleyball Club competed for positions on the 16U Regional volleyball team on the June 7-8th weekend. The tryouts were held at College Boreal in Sudbury. Both Girl’s and Boy’s Regional teams will represent Region Two [Northeast Region] at the Ontario Summers games being held in Ottawa August 13-16.

Junior Men In Semi Final Action Friday Night

Canada’s Junior Men’s National Team will face Mexico Friday night at 6:00pm (CDT) in the first Semi-Final at the 2008 NORCECA Junior Men’s Championship in San Salvador.
