New Coach for Queen’s Women
Joely Christian has been named head coach of the Queen’s Golden Gaels women’s volleyball team. Christian served as a part-time head coach last season. She is a former Canadian Interuniversity Sport all-Canadian and a four-time Canada West all-star and has competed in three CIS national championships, winning two bronze medals.
Prior to joining Queen’s last season, Christian was an assistant coach with the Toronto Varsity Blues. In 2005, she was the head coach of Team Ontario, which won the gold medal at 2005 Canada Games.
